Tah Tong Textile Co., Ltd. was founded in March 1958 and became a public listed company in 1989. Tah Tong is a textile mill focusing on the manufacturing of cotton yarn, a broad range of blended yarns, greige and a variety of finished fabrics. As the first textile mill to use automated production machines in Taiwan, it has continuously invested in upgrading our manufacturing capabilities. In 1997, it entered into the field of new technological textiles where it started development of functional and environmental friendly materials. Tah Tong is a vertically integrated textile group including Tah Tong Textile, Great Bell Printing & Dyeing and King-Tex Technology. Its expertise is in OEM/ODM, R&D, manufacturing, selling and trading covering two major products areas, yarn and fabric. During the year ended December 31, 2009, the company obtained approximately 63.02% and 32.59% of its total revenue from its cloth and yarn businesses, respectively. The company distributes its products in Taiwan, Japan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, mainland China, North America and Europe. To meet the ends of global business, Tah Tong established a presence in China and put our emphasis on the expansion of international markets.
