Established in January 5, 1993 Portwell Inc. launched the first Chinese Windows communications software - Communications Veyron in 1994 in cooperation with the Institute for Information Industry. In 1995 it launched the world's first PS / 2 type hot-swap power supply device and in 1997 introduced the world's first industrial motherboard Pentium II. In 1998 the company launched triple Compact Drive Set, including CD-ROM, disk drive (FDD) and hard disk drive (HDD) drive in 5.25. In 1999 it was granted RWTUV ISO 9001 certification and became a member of Intel IACPP. In 2000 the company jointly issued i840 chip set of the most high-end single-level computer with Intel. In 2003 it launched the world's first dual Intel Xeon chip level ePCI-X motherboard and hardware platform solutions and by using Intel's latest E7501 chipset, it successfully launched the most integrated, highest stability level of dual Xeon server network communications applications in the industry.
