Pan-International Electronics, headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan, was established on May 19th, 1971. The company is a full service, vertically integrated provider of Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) to leading technology customers around the world. A wide range of expertise supports end markets that include automotive, communications, computing, consumer, industrial, and healthcare. In 1993 Pan-International publically listed on Taiwan Stock Exchange. In 1989 Pan-International (USA) Co. Ltd. was established. The company established an electronics plant in 1992 and a cabling plant in 1994 in Malaysia. In 1995 it established an electronics plant in Thailand. It also established a plant in Mainland, China in 1996 and another one in Vietnam in 2010. These global locations are focused on delivering customer satisfaction by driving operational excellence, providing quality products, and seeking continuous improvement. In Pan-International, Total Quality Management (TQM) is utilized throughout the manufacturing process to make certain that the finished product conforms to the customers’ standards. Furthermore, Pan-International’s manufacturing facilities have been certified to meet the standards of ISO9001, ISO14001, TS16949, ISO13485, and other quality standards. It also has been registered by UL and CSA to manufacture product meeting the UL/CSA safety requirements. To ensure that a high standard of workmanship and quality is maintained, Pan trains and certifies its personnel to the latest IPC standards. Currently the company provides computer, electronic, communication and optical product and components, including terminals, connectors, connection wires, Bluetooth headsets, Bluetooth dongles, Bluetooth global positioning system (GPS) products, Bluetooth modules, cable assemblies, raw cables, light emitting diode (LED) assemblies, portable multimedia centers, liquid crystal display (LCD) monitor stands, control panels, printed circuit boards (PCBs) and wired headsets, among others. Its products are applied in the manufacture of monitors, printers, computers, communication products, household electrical appliances, office equipment and mobile phones, among others. In 2010 the company’s total revenue amounted to US$ 530 million and maintained a workforce of over 5,000 people worldwide.
