It applied for the patent of method of purifying animal eyes into type II collagen. It incorporated the particular cartilage tissue engineering with Taipei Medical University and applied for the patent of flexible paste mask. It got the grants of collagen tissue engineering by Ministry of Economic Affairs industry. In 2002, collagen immunity "pre-clinical trials were conducted. Application of patent of injectable collagen processing method was rated as A-level company by Department of Economic Affairs. Headquarters is moved to Wugu Industrial Area. The GMP factory settings of bio-medical products are completed and R&D Laboratory of Bio-medical products is completed. Tainan biotechnology mask manufacturing factory was set up. In 2003 Wugu bio-medical factory received the certification of ISO9001/ISO13485 quality system. Wugu Bio-medical factory received the GMP certification. The blood-stopping cotton was sent to Department of Health to be registered. The skin filler was sent to Changgeng Hospital and Makai Hospital for the clinical trial.
