Formosa Oilseed Processing Co., Ltd. was established on April 18, 1986 and listed publicly in Taiwan Stock Exchange in September, 1993. The company has attached great importance to quality control. GMP Certification was granted to its wheat flour mill in December, 1992 and to its oilseed processing plant in February, 1993. In June, 1997 both two plants passed ISO 9002 Certification. And in August, 2002 the company was awarded ISO 9001:2000/CNS 12681 quality management system certification. Formosa Oilseed Processing Co., Ltd. is mainly engaged in the production and distribution of oil products and feedstuffs. The company provides edible food and oil products, including soy bean oil, canola oil, sunflower oil, refined palm oil, olive oil, grape seed oil, ketchup, sweet corns, cream-style corn and canned fruits, among others, as well as feedstuff materials, including corns, crushed corns, full-cream soy bean flour, wheaten flour, barley, barley chaff and compound feedstuffs for poultry and livestock, among others. Currently the company owns an oilseed processing plant, a wheat flour mill, and barley flaking mill, and an animal feed mill. It imports commodities such as soybean, yellow corn, feed barley, wheat etc. from other countries to be processed into meal, oil, feed, milling powder. The company distributes its products principally in Taiwan.
