First Hotel Company Ltd. was founded on September 27, 1968 engaged in operation of hotels and leasing of commercial buildings. Approved by Securities and Exchange Commission, the company made public offering in October 1988 and was publicly traded on the Taiwan Stock Exchange in June 1991. The company operates tourism hotels, which provide guest rooms, catering and meeting services, as well as commercial buildings, which primarily involves in leasing services of shopping malls. During the year ended December 31, 2010, the company obtained approximately 57%, 26% and 16% of its total revenue from commercial property leasing, guest room services and catering services, respectively. The company offers its services principally to tourists from Asia, North America, Europe, Oceania and Africa.
