Taiwan Calsonic Co., Ltd.was founded in July 1987 by Yungtay Industrial Co., Ltd. and Japan's Calsonic Corporation. In December 1989, it incorporated Yongzi Company. In October 1990, SEC approved for public offering of stock. In December 1997,it passed ISO-9002 certification of international quality assurance system for auto air conditioners, air conditioners, condensers and evaporators.In May 1988 it obtained ISO-9002 certification of international quality assurance system for vacuum circuit breakers (VCB). In October 1988 it obtained QS-9000 certification of international quality assurance system for auto air conditioner, air conditioners, condenser and evaporators. In September 1999, it’s approved OTC trading. In February 2001 it invested and set up Huizhou Dongfeng Yong Chang Electrical Co., Ltd., producing automotive air-conditioning-related parts. In November 2002 it obtained ISO-14001 environmental management certification
