Chilisin Electronics Corp. was founded in 1972 and made public offering in 1995. In 1996 Yageo Group participated officially in the operation of the company. Since then, it became a member of the Group. In 2001 the company was listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange. Chilisin is principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of electrical components. The company provides surface mount device (SMD) components, including low temperature cofired ceramic (LTCC) products, multilayer chip inductors, wire wound chip inductors, chip beads, common mode filters/chokes, data line filters, transformers, current sensors and power inductors; leaded components, including ferrite beads, filters, common mode chokes, power chokes, transformers and current sensors, as well as traditional coils, nickel-zinc ferrite cores and manganese-zinc ferrite cores. Its products are applied in the manufacture of main boards, power supplies, computers, monitors, disk players, scanners, printers, workstations, mobile phones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), switches, facsimile machines, refrigerators, electronic game consoles and digital cameras, among others.
