Changs Ascending Enterprise Co., Ltd. (Taiwan, China)

Founded in August, 1997, Changs Ascending Enterprise Co., Ltd. (CAEC) researches, develops and produces cobalt, nickel and nickel-cobalt cathode material for lithium batteries. In 2001, the company completed its own automated manufacturing facility and boasts it became the first manufacturer of producing "Rechargeable lithium battery cathode material" in Taiwan. In 2005, the company successfully completed research, development and production of lithium iron cathode material and submitted a number of U.S. and World patent applications, and officially received “lithium iron phosphorus oxide” battery cathode material patent from the United States Patent and Trademark Office in 2009. The company formed a joint venture with the world renowned “Formosa Plastics Group” on May 20th 2008 called “Formosa Energy & Material Technology Co., Ltd.“, fully devoted in manufacturing and marketing a next generation of green energy material - lithium iron phosphate oxide cathode material.
