Aurora Corporation was founded in 1965 and introduced the first desktop computer. In 1970 it introduced electronic copiers and the first set of corporate identity system ACC. In 1991 the company was listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange. Aurora Corporation is principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of office equipment, office furniture and others. The company provides office equipment, including calculators, shredders, printers, photocopiers, projectors and facsimile machines, among others, as well as officer furniture, including system desks, chairs, file cabinets, screens, wood products, compartments and floor materials, among others. The company also involves in the provision of office space planning, comprising and maintenance services. During the year 2009, the company obtained approximately 79% and 20% of its total revenue from office equipment and office furniture, respectively.
