The company was incorporated on June 22, 1967, by Vehbi Koç under the name "Tat Konserve" in Bursa Mustafakemalpaşa, with the aim of processing tomato products. Over the years, Tat Gida has continued to grow with its factories in Bursa Karacabey and Izmir Torbalı, and has established itself as a leading company in the industry. Tat Gida is a subsidiary of Koç Holding and is one of the largest food companies in Turkey with its Tat brand. The company meets the high demand for tomato products both domestically and internationally through its technologically advanced factories located in three different locations. The success of Tat Gida is attributed to its world-class production infrastructure, trustworthy industrial-producer collaborations, the dedicated contribution of Turkish farmers, and its consumer-focused and innovative company culture.
