The group is operating in coal mining in various parts of Turkey since 1983, started up import activities in 1996 and opened and placed into service the facilities in Gebze, Aliağa, Toros and Trabzon in 1997, 1999, 2005 and 2010 respectively. Additionally, an underground coal mining in Edirne/Uzunköprü belonging to the group has been actively operating.
