Sönmez Filament Synthetic Yarn and Fiber Industry Inc. Co, has started its activities as the first industrial establishment of the Sönmez Holding group, in the year 1972. One of the main purposes of establishing the Company is producing all sorts of polyester yarn with high quality by means of modern technology and engineering studies. The second factory has been established at Demirtaş Organized Industrial Region in the year 1984, in addition to the establishments which have been founded and operated at Bursa Organized Industrial Region. Sönmez Filament, which has exhibited rapid and stable enlargement as the years passed, has renewed its machinery park for the sake of developing new products and obtaining products with better quality and therefore has achieved to get EN ISO 9001:2000 certificate from RWTÜV, TS EN ISO 9001:2000 quality system documents from TSE and EKO-TEX certificate from Hohenstein.
