Şeker Sigorta Anonim Şirketi is an insurance company located in Istanbul, Turkey. It was established in 1955 with the aim of protecting and guaranteeing the assets of beet cooperative member farmers across Turkey. The company offers a wide range of insurance solutions, including fire, transport, accident, engineering, agriculture, legal protection, personal accident, health, and credit insurance. Şeker Sigorta has more than 800 professional agencies nationwide and operates as an agency for all branches of Şekerbank A.Ş. In 1990, the company became a subsidiary of Ticaret Sigorta A.Ş. and later passed to the Retired and Supplementary Foundation and its Affiliates. In 2007, it was renamed "SBN Sigorta" but returned to its original name, Şeker Sigorta, in 2019. Today, the company serves over 1,000 distribution channels and focuses on developing simple, accurate, and economical insurance products that meet the needs of its customers. It also emphasizes responsibility towards society and future generations, aiming to support sustainable production and social development while protecting the lives and assets of its customers.
