Kipas Mensucat Isletmeleri Anonim Sirketi, located in Kahramanmaras, was founded in 1984 under the leadership of the ÖKSÜZ and GÜMÜŞER families. It operates in 6 main sectors, including textile, cement, paper, energy, education, and logistics. Kipaş Holding, the parent company, has 11,000 employees and is the tax record holder of Kahramanmaraş. Kipas Mensucat, a subsidiary of Kipaş Holding, is the largest integrated textile production company in Turkey and Europe. Kipas Tekstil also produces washable, multi-use masks and creations made from recycled plastic bottles. Kipaş Çimento, another subsidiary, has 15 concrete facilities and a cement production factory with an annual capacity of 3.2 million tons of clinker and 4 million tons of cement. It produces various types of cement according to international standards. Kipaş Kağıt, another subsidiary, produces 425,000 tons of paper annually from 100% recycled waste paper. It has a new investment in Aydın Söke, which will be the largest paper production facility in Turkey and Europe. Kipaş Holding also has energy investments, including geothermal power plants, and provides educational services from kindergarten to high school in Kahramanmaraş.
