Denizli Cement was established in 1976 and began operations in 1987. In 1992, after the privatization, was acquired by Modern Cement and became part of Eren Holding. 50% of the electrical power needs of the plant is met by the Diesel Conversion Co generation power plant with an installed capacity of 14 MW, commissioned in 1998. Nowadays the company is one of the Top 5 cement enterprises of Turkey with production capacity of 1,81 Mt clinker and 2,50 Mt cement. Additionally it has cement storage capacity of 22,000 tons, klinker storage capacity of 120,000 tons, packaging capacity of 600t/hour and bulk capacity of 750t/hour.
