Birlesik Fon Bankasi Anonim Sirketi, located in Istanbul, is a bank that was established in 1958 under the name Çaybank to support tea producers. Over the years, it underwent several name changes and mergers. In 2001, it was transferred to the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (SDIF) and its title was changed to the United Fund Bank. The United Fund Bank operates as the complete successor of eight banks, including Bayındırbank A.Ş., EGSBANK A.S., ETİBANK A.S., İTİSAT BANKASI TAŞ., KENTBANK A.S., and TOPRAKBANK INC. Additionally, the bank also follows some loan and deposit accounts of other banks that have been sold or liquidated. The bank's mission is to monitor and restructure cash and non-cash loans previously taken over in the field of banking transactions. It also focuses on the follow-up and liquidation of the assets and liabilities of the banks merged within the bank, all within the framework of corporate governance principles.
