The company uses the pure sea water of the Egean Sea for the production of sea salt, which is the main component in the manufacturing of more than 50% of products in the chemical industry. It is the largest sea salt producer in the country, with an annual production of 600,000 tons of sea salt. The saltworks cover an area of 73 km2 in the Gediz Delta.
