POSCO-Thainox Public Company Limited is a Thailand-based company located in Bangkok, Special Governed District of. It was incorporated on 30 July 1990 through a joint venture between leading steel industry groups from France, Japan, Italy, and Thailand. The company operates a cold-rolled stainless steel manufacturing facility in Rayong Industrial Park, which is considered the first of its kind in Thailand. In September 2011, POSCO-Thainox became part of the Global POSCO family, a South Korea-based leader in the global steel and stainless steel industry. This integration has enhanced the company's competitiveness and operational efficiency, allowing it to successfully execute its strategic growth plan. POSCO-Thainox controls the largest share of the domestic market and has a wide range of different stainless steel grades. The company produces and sells cold-rolled stainless steel, including austenitic and ferritic grades. These products are used as raw materials in the production of household appliances and other industries. POSCO-Thainox offers various grades of cold-rolled stainless steel in the form of sheets, coils, and strips. The austenitic grades include 304, 304 L, and 316 L, while the ferritic grades include 409, 430, and 439. POSCO-Thainox has four distribution channels for its cold-rolled stainless steel products. These include direct distribution to domestic customers, distribution through local distributors, direct distribution to overseas customers, and distribution through its overseas network in South Korea. The company benefits from Global POSCO's strong distribution network, which helps effectively penetrate worldwide markets.
