Nusasiri Public Company Limited (Thailand)

Nusasiri Public Company Limited, based in Bangkok, Thailand, was established on August 19, 1960 as Angpao Assets Public Company Limited and Thai Durable Textile Public Company Limited. It initially operated in the textile business. The company's shares were listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) on August 10, 1992, and it was converted to a public limited company in 1994. From 1993 to 1997, the company experienced losses, leading to a notification from SET that it may be delisted. The company's shares were transferred to companies under rehabilitation plans (REHABCO). However, the company successfully excluded itself from being delisted and its shares were allowed to be traded again under the REHABCO sector in April 2003. In early 2005, the company faced intense competition due to the free trade agreement and the removal of textile quota allocation. This resulted in a decline in the price of textile products, causing the company to incur losses and face liquidity problems. SET suspended the trading of the company's shares until it could meet the criteria for exclusion from being delisted and transferring back to the normal sector. In 2006, SET removed the REHABCO sector and transferred the company to the Non-Performing Group. Nusasiri Public Company Limited is primarily engaged in property development in Thailand. It operates in three segments: Property Development, Rental and Service, and Medical and Health. The company develops and sells land, houses, and residential condominium units. It is also involved in cultural theme park, art cultural center, golf course, and hotel operations. Additionally, the company invests in the hospital business, leases spaces and properties, operates a travel agency, and provides financial services. It is also involved in the medical and technological business and distributes medical and healthcare products. The company changed its name to Nusasiri Public Company Limited in May 2012.
