Asia Fiber Public Company Limited (AFC) is a Thailand-based company located in Muang District, Samutprakarn Province. Incorporated in 1970, AFC is the leading manufacturer of high-quality nylon-6 products in Thailand. Originally a Thai-Taiwanese joint venture, AFC began production in 1972 with promotion privileges from the Board of Investment (BOI). The company's main products include nylon-6 chips, nylon filament yarn, nylon textured yarn, and nylon taffeta fabrics. The nylon chips are used for textile and industrial applications, such as mono-filament, multi-filament, and engineering plastics. The nylon textured yarn is stretchable and fluffy, used in fabric and sock knitting. The taffeta fabric is woven from filament yarn and can be dyed and finished for an enhanced look and quality. AFC also offers fabric dyeing and finishing services.
