Tesco department stores and hypermarkets offer a wide range of both food and non-food goods. Tesco Stores SR entered Slovak market in 1996 by a purchase Kmart department stores. Today (2010) Tesco operates about 90 stores - 5 department stores, hypermarkets, supermarkets and other types of shops, 17 petrol stations.
