The company has been in operation since 1955 under the brand name Nový domov, and later changed its name to SAbinovská NÁbytkárska Spoločnosť - SANAS in 1990. They specialize in the production of furniture for both domestic and international markets, with a significant portion of their turnover coming from exports. Currently, they export their products to Western Europe, America, and Scandinavian countries. In recent years, the company has invested in the modernization of their machinery and technological equipment, with a focus on environmental protection.
