Plantex, s.r.o. is a company located in Vesele pri Piestanoch, Slovakia. It was founded in 1996, with the idea stemming from a century-long tradition of fruit cultivation in the village of Veselé and its surroundings. The company's main strength lies in the knowledge and expertise of its people. In 2002, the Belgian partner Immo Warandehof joined the company. Plantex offers nursery seedlings, ornamental plants, and fruits from its own orchards and plantations to both domestic and international trade partners. The annual production of fruit seedlings includes approximately 1.5 million apple trees, pear trees, plum trees, peach trees, apricot trees, cherry trees, and more. They also cultivate various varieties of apple trees, apricot trees, peach trees, plum trees, and pear trees in intensive orchards covering an area of approximately 144 hectares. These orchards are equipped with support structures, irrigation systems, grassy alleys, and partially with anti-hail nets. Additionally, Plantex is involved in the cultivation of strawberries on a 20-hectare area. At their garden center, customers can find everything they need for the realization of both decorative and utility gardens.
