Glovis Slovakia, s.r.o. is the Slovak subsidiary of Hyundai Glovis, a global provider of integrated logistics and distribution services within the Hyundai Motor Group. With its registered office in Zilina and operating facilities located at the Kia Motors Slovakia plant site in Teplicka nad Vahom, the company plays a key role in the automotive supply chain for Kia Motors Slovakia and selected other customers. Its activities cover several logistics segments. In internal logistics, Glovis Slovakia is responsible for receiving, storing and sequencing automotive parts and materials for vehicle production, using just in time and just in sequence methods and proprietary IT systems to supply parts to the assembly line in the correct sequence and at the right time, while maintaining detailed lot traceability data. In external transportation, the company organises inbound transport of components from suppliers and outbound distribution of finished vehicles, including yard management, vehicle processing and preparation for delivery to distributors, storage and loading operations for dispatch to dealers across Europe. Beyond automotive logistics, Glovis Slovakia is licensed for a broad range of supplementary activities such as forwarding, warehousing, handling of goods, packaging, leasing of equipment and other auxiliary services listed in the commercial register and business directories. Strategically, the company is positioned as a key logistics partner for Kia Motors Slovakia and as part of Hyundai Glovis's European network, focusing on reliability, efficiency, traceability and cost optimisation in automotive logistics and distribution while supporting group wide standards in safety and quality.
