DEM d.o.o., established in 1976, is a Slovenia-based producer of electric power using renewable resources. The company, which is owned by local group HSE and the Republic of Slovenia, operates eight large and two small hydroelectric power plants along the Drava River. DEM d.o.o. has a net electrical power of 577 MW and an average annual electrical energy generation of some 2.7 billion kWh. The power plant supplies power to numerous consumer centers in Slovenia.
