VinFast Auto Ltd. is a Vietnamese electric-vehicle maker (Evs, e-scooters and e-buses). The Company has a manufacturing complex in Vietnam, where it produces three models of cars and five models of e-scooters. It also has a factory in North Carolina, where it plans to start production in 2025.
HISTORY
2015 – The Company was incorporated in Singapore on January 19, 2015 as Fiscus Consultancy Pte. Ltd.
2021 – The Company change its name to VinFast Trading Investment Pte. Ltd. on April 8, 2021.
2022 – The Company change its name to VinFast Auto Pte. Ltd on December 12, 2022.
2023 – The Company entered into a Business Combination Agreement with Black Spade Acquisition Co. (“Black Spade”) on May 12. The business combination was completed on August 14, 2023. As the result, Black Spade become a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company and was delisted from the NYSE American LLC. The Company ordinary shares and warrants began trading on Nasdaq under the ticker symbols “VFS” and “VFSWW , respectively, on August 15. The Company also change its name to VinFast Auto Ltd.
