Sudanese Islamic Bank is an Islamic credit institution, set up in 1982 in Khartoum to provide interest-free banking services. The bank performs all kinds of Sharia-compliant deposit, financing and investment consulting services and offers them to both individuals and corporations. It has 44 branches, of which 13 are located in the capital and the remaining are distributed among the other Sudanese provinces.
