It was established in 1993 after the establishment of the Free Markets Establishment in 1973, the Sudanese Exhibitions Authority in 1976, the Al-Qurain Village Hotel, and the Al-Hubei Land Restaurant – the Emiri Restaurant in 1978. The company is one of the largest in Sudan and its shares are traded on the Khartoum Stock Exchange.
