Ivory Bank is a public limited company located in Al-Khartum, Sudan. It was established on 11 November 1992 in accordance with the Sudan Company Act 1924. The bank became fully operational on 16 August 1994, with its headquarters in Khartoum. In July 2008, after the signing of the comprehensive peace agreement in 2005, the bank was relocated to Juba, South Sudan. In Juba, the bank re-arranged its banking operations from Islamic to conventional banking system and was re-registered under the South Sudan Company Act 2003. Ivory Bank conducts international operations through Commercial Bank of Africa (CBA) in Nairobi, Kenya, and Centenary Rural Development Bank in Kampala, Uganda. These operations cater to the needs of the bank's domestic corporate and other customers involved in import and export transactions, forex exchange, and money transfer. The bank offers various products and services, including foreign letters of credit, guarantees, remittances, acceptances and collections, deposit accounts, and loan facilities. Additionally, Ivory Bank collects government revenue in Awiel, Yambio, and Khartoum.
