Yamama Saudi Cement Company JSC, located in Riyadh, was established in 1956 by Prince Mohammed Bin Saud Al-Kabeer. It is the oldest cement company in the central region of Saudi Arabia and the third of its kind in the kingdom. The company's paid-up capital is SR1350 million. Yamama Cement manufactures and trades cement in Riyadh. It has been successful in capitalizing on investment opportunities and favorable policies. The company produces ordinary Portland cement and salt resistant cement. It has a daily production of clinker, which is the material produced from the burning of raw materials under high temperatures, of 18,600 tons or more than 21,800 tons of cement. The cement is delivered to customers in either 50 kg bags or as a liquid.
