The National Commercial Bank (NCB) is a Saudi bank, headquartered in Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. The bank was incorporated in 1953 and it is considered the first Saudi bank. The bank operated through 329 branches across the country and 2252 ATMs. NCB is not only a leading financial institution in Saudi Arabia but also in the GCC countries. The bank provides a wide range of personal and corporate banking services. Originally the bank’s legal structure was General Partnership then on the date of 1 July 1997 was the Bank’s conversion from a General Partnership to a Saudi Joint Stock Company. NCB has a major role in the Islamic banking and finance. It participated in Shariah compliant financing for several projects through syndicated loans, in addition to this it has several Islamic funds.The bank has received numerous awards from various financial institutions.
