Northern Region Cement Company, located in Riyadh, was founded in 2006 with a capital of 1,200,000,000,00. It started production in the first half of 2008 and is considered one of the debut industrial projects in the northern border area. The company's factory was inaugurated by King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud during his visit to the northern border area and was supervised by the Emir of the Northern border region. The main activities of the company include the production of Ordinary Portland cement, salt resistant Portland cement, Pozzolanic cement, Portland White Cement, and oil well cement.
