National Gas & Industrialization Co. was founded in 1383 H. (1963) as a result of the merger of Dammam based National Gas Co. with its two branches in Riyadh and Jeddah and the Saudi Gasco Industrialization Co. based in Riyadh with its branch in Dammam . During the early Nineties Higra ( early seventies ) other small scale companies and establishments had been established for filling and distribution of L.P. Gases.
The government decided to merge all existing companies and establishments at that time with the National Gas & Industrialization Co. (Gasco ) at the end of 1395 H. (1975).
It engaged in the distribution of gas through a network of filling stations across Saudi Arabia. The Company's main activities are transporting, filling and marketing liquefied petroleum gas , as well as the marketing of empty cylinders and tanks and their accessories. It carries out piping and tank's installations. Its products portfolio falls into four types: Liquid gas, which includes regular gas, propane gas and butane gas; Tanks, which includes surface tanks and buried tanks; Cylinders, which includes steel cylinders and light weight cylinders specification, and flow controllers, which includes tanks flow control and cylinders flow control.
