Open Joint Stock Company "Siburenergomenedzhment" was established November 1, 2006 through the allocation of power sales activities of the JSC "Voronezhsintezkauchuk." May 31, 2010 JSC "Mezhregionenergosbyt" became a majority shareholder OJSC "Siburenergomenedzhment." JSC "Mezhregionenergosbyt" was founded in 2006 as a subsidiary of the Company "Mezhregiongaz" (100% "daughter" of "Gazprom") and is one of the largest energy traders in Russia. The major subsidiaries "Mezhregionenergosbyt" are "Tyumen Energy Retail Company" and energy traders Fortis Energy (Lithuania). "Sibur" through the JSC "Voronezhsintezkauchuk" remains the owner of 48.43% shares of "Siburenergomenedzhmenta", carrying out operational management of the enterprise. Ownership of "Siburenergomenedzhment" to two groups: "Gazprom" and "Sibur" pozvolyaett company to provide implementation of an improved system of organization of power sales as a direct part in the implementation of the trading activities of the center of effective data collection and processing of information about energy consumption and in the context of financial calculations, controlling, reporting, participation in exchange trading, access to credit. Consolidation of power sales of assets can improve economic efficiency and stability of power supply companies of the group "Gazprom" and "Sibur".
