Vaninskii Morskoi Torgovyi Port AO is the largest stevedoring company in the Khabarovsk Krai, providing loading and unloading services, as well as related transportation and expedition services. The company is the successor of the Vanino Sea Port, which was founded in 1943. Vanino Port is a transportation hub that connects railway, maritime, and road communication routes. It handles cargo shipments to the northeastern regions of Russia, Japan, South Korea, China, Australia, the United States, and other countries in the Asia-Pacific region. The port's advantageous geographical location provides the closest access to the sea for goods coming from the West via the Baikal-Amur and Trans-Siberian railway lines. The port's infrastructure consists of sixteen berths, open and closed warehouses equipped with port facilities and structures, crane equipment, and handling machinery. The depths at the berths and the technical capabilities allow for the reception and processing of vessels with a deadweight of up to 45,000 tons. In addition to the universal berths, the stevedoring company includes specialized terminals such as the ferry, container, and alumina terminals. The company also operates a fleet of port vessels that perform mooring operations, passenger transportation, and water supply for ships.
