Moscow Urban Telephone Network, commonly known as MGTS, is Russian company headquartered in the city of Moscow. It has been incorporated in 1994. In 2002 MGTS has commissioned a fiber-optic transport network designed to be the core of the digitalization of the Company. The company has created and started commercial operation of public data (SPD OP) - a resource designed to provide for the future growth of the Company's revenues from the "last mile" of telematics services and the "Internet." In 2003, the company received a license to provide long-distance and international calls. The main purpose of the Issuer has been and remains to this day providing Muscovites guests, organizations in Moscow local telephone services. Since September 2007, MGTS started to sell Internet access services based on ADSL technology under its own brand. Muscovites pay for this service on credit. The fee for Internet access along with voice services included in a single bill MGTS, which are issued every month to subscribers of the company. MGTS provides these services on behalf of JSC "COMSTAR-Direct", also part of the group "Comstar". MGTS also began selling its subscribers in the halls of Internet access at speeds of 1 to 6 Mbit / s, speaking dealer of JSC "COMSTAR-Direct" (trademark STREAM). Currently, MGTS is actively implementing solutions to build a next-generation network (NGN).
