MD Medical Group Investments PLC (Russia)

The principal activity of the Company is that of an investment holding company and, for that purpose, to acquire and hold controlling and other interests in the share or loan capital of any company or companies of any nature, but primarily in the healthcare industry.
The company was incorporated in Cyprus on 5 August 2010 as a private limited liability company under the provisions of the Cyprus Companies Law, Cap. 113. On 22 August 2012 following special resolution passed by the shareholder, the name of the Company was changed from “MD Medical Group Investments Ltd” to “MD Medical Group Investments Plc” and the Company was converted into a public limited liability company in accordance with the provisions of the Cyprus Companies Law, Cap. 113.
The Group's medical centers typically offer a range of services in the following fields:
• Obstetrics and gynecology.
• Pediatrics.
• Fertility and in-vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment.
• Other medical services.
Other medical services include but are not limited to dental care, laboratory examinations, surgery, traumatology and rehabilitation.
On October 17, 2012, the company are listed in the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange under the symbol MDMG.
The Group is one of the leading players in the Russian private healthcare market. Today, MD Medical Group comprises 53 state-of-the-art medical centers, including 10 multifunctional hospitals and 43 clinics which operate in 32 cities in Russia.
The Company offers a wide range of high-quality medical services, covering such demanded areas as cardiology, oncology, surgery, trauma, OBGYN, obstetrics and pediatrics.
The Group successfully completed an IPO in London. The Company s shares have been listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE ticker MDMG ) in the form of Global Depositary Receipts (GDRs) since 12 October 2012. Since November 9, 2020 the Company s GDRs are traded also on the Moscow Exchange.
The Group is headed by its founder and CEO and Member of the Board of Directors, Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Dr. Mark Kurtser.

22 June 2023, the Group is a leading Russian private healthcare provider, further to the announcement made on 23 May 2023, today announces that following its applications submitted to the UK Financial Conduct Authority (the “FCA”) and the London Stock Exchange (the “LSE”), the Company's global depositary receipts (the “GDRs”) (ISIN US55279C2008 and ISIN US55279C1018) were cancelled from the FCA's official list and admission to trading on the LSE with effect from 22 June 2023.
Trading in Company's GDRs will continue on the regulated market of Moscow Exchange.
