The Moskvich Automobile Plant is a Russian car manufacturing company located in Moscow. The plant was founded in 1929 as the Moscow Small Car Factory (MZMA), and in 1947 began production of passenger cars "Moskvich". The plant produced a wide range of car models, including sedans, hatchbacks, station wagons and SUVs. In 2010, the plant was closed, but in 2022 it resumed production of cars under the Moskvich brand. Currently, the plant produces cars based on the Renault Logan platform. The plant plans to produce new car models, including electric cars.
