Unilever South Central Europe SA (Romania)

Unilever, one of the most important companies in the consumer goods market in Romania, is present on the Romanian market since 1995. Since then, Unilever has invested nearly EUR 125 million, making it one of the most important investors in Romania. In 2006, local production was concentrated on the industrial platform in Ploiesti Unilever achieved by building a plant on land where food is detergent factory. The platform was inaugurated in December 2006, following an investment of 4 million euros. In February 2009, Unilever entered the ice cream market, the Wall 'international brand and has acquired legendary Romanian ice cream brand Napoca. In October 2010, Unilever entered the market for oral hygiene products with international brand Signal.
