Nestlé is a multinational food company and one of the major Swiss corporations. In 2006, the Group acquired regional Nestlé Greek company Delta Ice Cream. In Romania, it became Nestlé Ice Cream Romania. on 1 November 2010 following the merger, Nestle Ice-Cream Romania took over the entire property and the absorbed company name, or Nestle Romania. The company had sales of 500 million lei (about 150 million) in 2009.
