Martens SA is a beer factory located in Galati, Romania. The company was founded in 1978 and has always prioritized the satisfaction of its consumers in the production of their beer. For two decades, the factory operated as a Romanian-owned producer, establishing a strong regional presence. In 1998, Martens Brouwerij acquired a majority stake in the company. Martens Brouwerij has a history dating back to 1758 in Bocholt, Belgium, spanning over 250 years and eight generations. Throughout this time, their values have remained unchanged, focusing on the art of fermenting simple and natural ingredients to bring joy to people's lives. Martens SA has been fortunate to find Belgian partners who share the same dedication to perfecting the craft of beer production and the desire to bring happiness to the people they serve. Through considerable efforts, they believe they have brought a part of Belgian beer-making tradition to Romania. Currently, Martens SA works alongside consumers and retail partners to develop competitive and affordable products.
