Lactag SA is a Romanian company headquartered in the city of Costesti. It has been incorporated in 1956 as Intreprinderea de Industrializare a Laptelui. In 1990 it was transformed into Lactag Joint Stock Company. Since 2013, Lactag has entered the charcuterie and fresh meat market by purchasing a modern meat processing factory in Dolj County. 2014 is a point of maximum interest for Lactag SA, becoming a national player on the dairy market, with three integrated business lines that in 2014 have led to a turnover three times higher in comparison to 2012. Currently Lactag SA has two production capacities: a milk processing plant located in Arges County and a meat processing plant located in Dolj county. Lactag SA also owns a network of its own stores located in Southern Romania. The name of the store network is "Pe gustate".
