The first written reference about Dorna was found in 1410. Dorna Apemin company was created by Greek-born Swiss businessman Jean Valvis and a Swiss banker Hans Berschmann. In 2002, Coca-Cola HBC and Coca-Cola Romania bought the majority stake of Dorna Apemin SA through two companies from Iceland and Cyprus.
