Chimcomplex SA Borzesti (Romania)

Chimcomplex SA is a Romanian company headquartered in the city of Onesti, Bacau County. It has been incorporated in 1991. The main activity of the company is related to manufacture of inorganic basic chemicals. Combinatului Chimic Borzeşti was established in 1954. Five years later, in 1959, the first objectives came into operation: Oxygen Plant, Detoxan and Monochlorobenzene Plants, the plants of Caustic Soda. The product range was rapidly developed, including eventually other Chloralkali, Inorganic Chlorides, Organic Solvents, Plastics, Alkylamines, Synthesis Intermediaries, Pesticides and Compressed Gases. Finally, in 1990 the Chemical Factory Borzesti was separated from the Borzesti Petrochemical Factory (Combinatul Petrochimic) and in 1991 it was transformed into a joint-stock company under the name Chimcomplex SA.
