Vincon Romania is one of the largest producers of wine, spirits and vinegar Romania. Founded in 1949, Vincon Romania was privatized in 1999 and since then Luchi Georgescu is the majority shareholder and company president. The company owns 1 500 hectares of vines in the vineyards Odobeşti, Coteşti, Panciu and Huşi, 11 farms vineyards, 10 wineries, three industrial sites conditioning and bottling wine, spirits and vinegar, and three warehouses. From these vineyards, the company produces high quality wine varieties: Feteasca Alba, Feteasca Regala, Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat Ottonel, Serbian, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Black Feteasca. Also in this wine region is part Pietroasa area, renowned for the quality of wines from varieties of sweet incense Romanian Bohotin Busuioacă of fat, exploited area where about 350 ha planted with varieties mentioned. Vincon Romania has some of the finest wineries in the country and portfolio covering all consumer segments.
