ASAM SA was established in 1924 to serve a new industry branch at the time: plane and automotive repair for the I Aviation Flotilla Iasi. In 1974 changes its main activity profile specializing on the production of parts and accessories for trucks, tractors, automobiles and agriculture machines under the name of Intreprinderea de piese auto. In 1990 ASAM SA is established by taking over the entire patrimony of Intreprinderea de piese auto.
At present ASAM is part of the Conex Group Iasi.
