Delphi has operated in Romania since 1997. The company's plants in Sannicolau Mare, Moldova Noua and Ineu produce electrical, electronic distribution systems and its plant in Iasi produces diesel engine management systems. Delphi Packard Romania SRL has three plants: two electrical/electronic architecture plants located in Sannicolau Mare and Ineu, and one diesel plant in Iasi. Products manufactured by Delphi plants in Sannicolau Mare and Ineu for customers throughout Europe include wiring harnesses for automotive bodies, interiors, and doors as well as small harnesses. Delphi produces common rail diesel pumps and injectors in Iasi. Delphi Automotive opened a new manufacturing facility at Moldova Noua for producing wiring harness modules for vehicle manufacturers across Europe.
