The company was founded on October 29, 1997. Since April 2007, Alumil Rom Industry shares have been listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange. Headquartered in Bucharest, it is the largest industrial group in Romania that produces and supplies aluminum systems for buildings, certified by internationally recognized institutes. Alumil Rom Industry SA is a subsidiary of the company Alumil Industria Aluminiului SA. It owns an electrostatic field painting facility with a capacity of 6,000 tons per year and a facility for the production of thermal barrier profiles with a capacity of 3,000 tons per year. Alumil also has the largest national distribution network with sales points in 23 cities, totaling over 80,000 m2 of land and 26,000 m2 of industrial sites and offices.The Company starts trading on the BSE within January 2007, accomplishing a pioneering step.
