Interfisa Banco SAECA is a private company of the Paraguayan financial system, founded on July 24, 1978. In 1995, through the support of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), Interfisa Banco incorporated credit technology to meet the needs of micro-urban enterprises. With this strategic vision, in 2005 it has implemented a microfinance program focused on the rural sector. Subsequently, in 2012, with the support of the IDB and the World Bank for Women, the entity has adopted microfinance technology for financial inclusion of gender in the rural sector of the country. Currently, with more than 100 thousand clients, Interfisa Banco is one of the leading companies in the concession of rural loans to micro and small entrepreneurs. The orientation towards micro small and medium enterprises led to the opening of branches and center of attention in practically all the departments of Paraguay. With 48 branches, Interfisa is one of the entities with the largest customer service center in the country. The entity has more than 900 employees. In 2010, it was positioned as the largest financial institution acording to Assets, Profitability and Portfolio Growth. Interfisa Banco has the highest rating among financial institutions with an A+py Rating.
